Good Shepherd Services in Brooklyn seeks a Social Work Supervisor for the Brooklyn Transitions Program, leading clinical casework and case management to ensure high-quality services and compliance with ACS and agency standards. The role reports to the Program Director, is based on site at 503 5th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11215, and requires 35 hours per week with an on-site, hybrid schedule at leadership discretion.

Salary range is $72,000–$78,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Social Work required.
• Experience working in Child Welfare required.
• NYs Licensure preferred (LMSW; LMHC; LCAT).
• Three years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Evenings two per week required for supervisory coverage.
• Commitment to strength-based, trauma-informed practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the prevention program.
• Handle case crises, including incidents reported to the State Central Registry.
• Represent program at ACS and GSS meetings and trainings.
• Collaborate with FSU, FCLS, and other providers for safety decisions.
• Connect participants to other GSS programs and services as needed.
• Respond to internal and external data requests for cases.
• Accompany workers during home visits, safety conferences, court hearings, and counseling sessions.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and supervise staff to ensure high-quality performance.
