Job summary

The Salvation Army in Clive, IA is seeking a Social Services Coordinator to oversee all Social Services functions at Capital Area Command. You will support program development, oversee pantry and volunteer activities, and manage client services with data reporting and grant accountability.

The role may require evening/weekend hours and driving is an essential function. A bachelor’s degree in social work or related field is preferred, with four years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field preferred; or four years of related experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
• Strong written and spoken communication; ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all Social Services functions from Capital Area Command.
• Support program development, policies, procedures, and evaluation of programs.
• Oversee pantry operations and volunteer coordination.
• Develop and implement Pathway of Hope to serve clients and families.
• Provide direct client services and link to community resources as needed.
• Maintain data management, month-end reports, grant reporting, and other required reports.
• Assist with annual budgeting and monitoring expenditures and funding sources.
