Qualifications

• Specialized Experience: One year at GS-04 level in social services, case management, or patient support services.
• Education: Bachelor's degree with 24 semester hours in related subjects or a major in social behavior, human behavior, or health care.
• Combination of Education and Experience: Combination meeting 100% of requirements; only education beyond the first 60 semester hours creditable.

Responsibilities

• Assist higher-level staff in implementing resident schedules, structured treatment activities, and cultural programming.
• Monitor resident behavior, conduct bed checks, and document observations per procedures.
• Escort and supervise residents during meals and activities while maintaining accountability.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and treatment assignments under supervision.
• Support facility operations by assisting with security procedures, surveillance, and safety checks.
