Qualifications

• GS-07: 1 year specialized experience at GS-06 level.

Responsibilities

• Assists higher-level staff with resident schedules, treatment activities, and cultural programming.
• Monitors resident behavior, conducts bed checks, and documents observations per procedures.
• Escorts and supervises residents during meals, activities, and off-unit events, maintaining accountability.
• Assists residents with daily living activities, treatment assignments, and structured recreational activities under supervision.
• Supports facility operations by assisting with security procedures and safety checks; maintains a safe environment.
• Reports resident status and unusual incidents to supervisory or clinical staff.

Education

Bachelor's degree with 24 semester hours in related subjects or health care/social behavior major
