Job summary

The Bair Foundation in Texas is seeking a Social Service Worker to help safeguard children in foster and kinship care, working with families and care teams to create safe, stable, and nurturing homes. As a Social Service Worker, you are on the front lines offensuring children in foster and kinship care experience safe, stable, andnurturing homes. You’ll work closely with foster families, children, andservice teams to assess well-being, monitor progress, and ensure services meeteach child’s unique needs. WHAT YOU’LL DO TO MAKE AN IMPACT

Protect Child Safety – Actively monitorplacements, evaluate risk, and respond decisively to safety concerns, includingallegations of abuse or neglect.

• Equip and Support Caregivers – Coach andsupport foster and kinship families through supervision and traininggrounded in the Together Facing The Challenge model.
• Coordinate Effective Services – Leadassessment and service planning efforts in partnership with families andteam members to support treatment goals and permanency.
• Track Outcomes and Well-Being – Completeconsistent home visits and ongoing assessments to ensure children receiveappropriate care and services.
• Maintain Regulatory Compliance – Ensuredocumentation and service delivery consistently align with regulatory,accreditation, and organizational standards.

WHAT YOU BRING

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, HumanServices, or a related field (state-specific requirements apply)

Experience providing casework services tochildren and families, preferably in foster care or child welfare

Strong assessment, documentation, communication,and problem-solving skills

Candidates must possess a valid driver’slicense, current auto insurance, and vehicle registration.
