As a Home Study Assessor, you’ll play a vital role inhelping children move toward safe, stable, and permanent homes. In thisfield-based role, you’ll conduct comprehensive home studies and assessmentsthat determine a family’s readiness to foster or adopt. Your work ensuresfamilies are prepared, supported, and aligned with child welfare standards, directlyimpacting the permanent outcomes for children.

Conduct in-depth home studies and assessments inaccordance with agency standards and regulatory requirements
Interview prospective families and complete homevisits to evaluate safety, stability, and readiness to care for children
Prepare clear, accurate, and timely written homestudy reports that support certification and permanency decisions
Guide and educate families throughout the homestudy process with professionalism, clarity, and compassion
Collaborate with agency staff and leadership toensure assessments meet quality and compliance expectations
Maintain organized documentation and meetestablished timelines for assigned home studies
Represent the agency’s mission, values, andcommitment to children in every interaction
