Job summary

You will partner with ACS leadership to drive engagement, credibility, and trust in science through platform-specific storytelling.

The role oversees content creator partnerships, sets direction for social programs, and leads a team of social media specialists.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in social media strategy with proven brand impact.
• 5+ years leading teams in complex or matrixed settings.
• Experience partnering with creative, marketing, and editorial teams.
• Strong data-informed decision making and judgment.
• Experience guiding brands through online crisis management.
• Excellent writing and editing for platform-specific narratives.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across flagship ACS social platforms.
• Develop a creator partnership roadmap and scalable framework.
• Lead and develop a team of social media specialists.
• Establish measurement processes with analytics and social listening.
• Translate trends into timely, on-brand content campaigns.
• Advise leaders to ensure integrated campaigns and brand ambassadorship.
