Job summary

Kiva is seeking a Social Media Associate to amplify our mission across Instagram, Facebook, and potential new channels. You will develop and execute a social strategy, manage day-to-day content planning, and coordinate with teams to ensure consistent, engaging storytelling that reflects our values.

Preferred candidates have 2+ years in social media management, experience with Sprout Social or Canva, and a proven ability to engage communities for nonprofit or corporate brands.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing social media publishing and community engagement.
• Experience with social media management for established brands (nonprofit or corporate).
• Experience with Sprout Social or similar social management platforms.
• Experience with Canva and with implementing brand guidelines into designs.
• Strong attention to detail and operational consistency.
• Clear, professional written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement social media strategy across channels in alignment with growth goals.
• Manage day-to-day content planning, creation, and scheduling with cross‑team collaboration.
• Monitor comments, messages, and mentions; respond per brand voice and escalate when needed.
• Publish monthly performance reports and extract insights for future planning.
• Coordinate with Creative and Communications teams to source assets and align content.
