Job summary

Hybrid Renovations is seeking a creative Social Media & Content Creator to develop engaging content for our residential projects. You will work with the VP of Marketing to brainstorm concepts, script social videos, and oversee filming and editing—both on-site and remotely.

Social Media & Content Creator

Part-Time | Potential to Grow Into Full-Time

We’re looking for a creative, organized, and hands‑on Social Media & Content Creator to join our growing residential construction team. This role is ideal for someone who understands social media, enjoys creating video content, and can take an idea from concept to finished content.

A college degree is not required. We value experience, creativity, communication skills, initiative, and the ability to understand and execute effective social media content. Candidates must have access to a computer or laptop.

What You’ll Do

• Work directly with the VP of Marketing to develop social media content, creative concepts, and reusable templates.
• Take general or high-level ideas and turn them into clear, engaging content concepts.
• Write social media video scripts from start to finish.
• Take a strong lead on video content, including planning, filming, directing, and editing.
• Travel to homeowners’ properties for in-person filming and content creation.
• Help guide employees, team members, and company leadership on camera to ensure they feel comfortable and deliver the intended message.
• Clearly communicate your creative vision and provide direction during filming.
• Edit video content remotely after filming.
• Create engaging content that accurately represents our brand and the residential construction industry.
• Manage 3rd-party post scheduling to organize, schedule, and publish social media content across applicable platforms.
• Stay current with social media trends, formats, features, and best practices.
• Work closely with management and take direction while independently managing your time, projects, and responsibilities.

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in social media and content creation.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and what makes content engaging.
• Experience with video editing; Adobe Premiere Pro experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of AI tools and how to incorporate AI into content creation and creative workflows.
• Familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar AI platforms .
• Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Comfortable directing and coaching people during video recordings.
• Creative thinker who can take a basic idea and turn it into compelling, attention-grabbing content.
• Comfortable working within the residential construction industry.
• Reliable transportation is required, as filming will take place at homeowners’ properties.
• Comfortable working both in person for filming and remotely for editing and other content-related responsibilities.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Part-time to start , with potential to transition into a full-time position.
• In-person: Filming and content creation at homeowners’ properties.
• Remote: Video editing, content development, scheduling, and communication with the VP of Marketing.
• Work closely with management and the VP of Marketing while taking ownership of assigned projects and deadlines.
