Job summary

Five Iron Golf in Austin, TX is seeking an Assistant General Manager - Social (AGM-S) to partner with the General Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences and memorable events. You will coach staff to provide hospitality-driven service and lead the Golf Experience Team to engage guests with the brand’s unique offerings.

The role focuses on growing revenue through leagues, rentals, events, and food & beverage service while maintaining safety standards and controlling labor costs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hospitality management experience, with at least 1 recent year as Assistant General Manager or General Manager.
• Exemplary communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Availability to be present in the space on evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue in Simulator Rentals, Food and Beverage Sales, and League sales.
• Recruit, hire, and train staff, onboarding and continued education of new hires.
• Evaluate employee performance to meet day-to-day business needs.
• Oversee social operations: leagues, simulator rentals, events, facilities maintenance, F&B, and staff scheduling.
• Maintain service standards and monitor labor and operating costs.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and alcohol service laws.
