Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Southern California based Director, State and Local Government Relations to shape and execute policy strategies with state and local officials.

You will collaborate with GR, legal, and business lines to advance priorities, travel ~30%, and engage with industry groups.

This role requires 8+ years in government relations and CA knowledge, with Top Secret eligibility.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in government relations or CA state executive/legislative arena.
• Lobby registration in California and local jurisdictions; federal may be needed.
• Strong knowledge of CA legislative/executive processes and stakeholders.
• Ability to build coalitions with state/local officials and associations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; independent and team work.
• Willingness to travel ~30%+; able to obtain active Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute state and local engagement plans aligning with company priorities.
• Lead GR strategies to enhance company positioning at state/local levels.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to pursue policy opportunities.
• Represent Anduril before state/local officials and stakeholders.
• Monitor annual policymaking in relevant states and adapt priorities.
