Anduril Industries is seeking a Maryland-based Director of State and Local Government Relations to shape and execute a statewide strategy across Annapolis and Baltimore County. You will coordinate with federal, state, and local teams, build coalitions, and engage senior officials to advance company priorities.

The role requires extensive Maryland policy knowledge, proven relationship-building, and the ability to travel 30%+ to represent Anduril across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualificações

• Minimum 12 years experience in government relations with direct Maryland state or local arena experience.
• Lobby registration in Maryland, Baltimore County, and other states/local jurisdictions; federal registration could be required.
• Extensive knowledge of Maryland state/local legislative and executive processes.
• Ability to build coalitions and maintain relationships with key state/local officials and industry associations.
• Willingness to travel approx. 30% or greater; eligible for U.S. Top Secret clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Define the strategic goals and priorities and develop an engagement plan with a focus on informing state and local policymakers.
• Lead government relations strategies to advance the company’s priorities at the state and local level.
• Coordinate with executives, legal, communications, and other teams to identify policy opportunities and advise on legislative objectives.
• Engage with state and local industry trade groups and leverage memberships to advance policy initiatives.
• Design and lead engagement strategy with state/local officials and coordinate visits and events at company facilities.
• Draft and manage state/local engagement deliverables like white papers, testimony, and hearing prep.
