Anduril Industries in Washington, DC is seeking an Associate Director of Government Relations to lead federal engagement across Congress and the executive branch. You will develop and execute GR strategies across business lines, coordinate appropriations and authorization efforts, manage congressional visits, and prepare policy materials while maintaining active security clearances as required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in national security, government relations or federal arena.
• Defense/national security experience on Capitol Hill or in government relations.
• Proven ability to promote government relations priorities and influence policy/budget processes.
• Significant knowledge of US federal appropriations and policy making.
• Experience with defense policy and stakeholders in the defense/national security sector.
• Ability to build coalitions and relationships with Congressional and executive branch officials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently toward short and long-term goals.
• Ability to travel approximately 25%+ and to work on-site in DC office.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active US Top Secret clearance.
• Position requires lobbyist registration under the Lobbying Disclosure Act.

Responsibilities

• Support GR strategies to build the company’s reputation and understanding in Washington, DC.
• Develop and implement GR strategy across business lines and fiscal years.
• Engage on priority budget and policy through congressional and executive processes.
• Coordinate visits by Members of Congress to Anduril facilities.
• Draft and submit policy and funding requests, white papers, testimony, and hearing prep.
• Monitor annual congressional policymaking, focusing on appropriations and defense policy.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to coordinate priorities.
• Support Anduril's Political Action Committee priorities.
