Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Southern California based Director of State and Local Government Relations to shape and execute public policy strategies at the state and local level. You will collaborate with multiple teams to advance company priorities before government officials and industry groups.

The role requires extensive knowledge of California legislative processes, the ability to build coalitions, and willingness to travel up to 30%+ to support nationwide activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 8 years government relations experience at state/local level.
• Lobby registration in CA and local jurisdictions; federal registration may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute state and local government relations strategy to advance Anduril priorities.
• Lead engagement with state/local officials, industry groups, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with federal, state, and local teams to align policy objectives and communications.
• Draft and manage engagement materials, testimony, and hearing prep for state/local policymaking.
