Job summary

Anduril Industries in Washington, DC seeks an Associate Director, Government Relations to drive policy engagement with federal lawmakers and executive agencies. You will develop strategies, coordinate across business lines, and advance funding priorities aligned with Anduril’s national security objectives.

The role requires deep knowledge of US federal budget and appropriations processes, the ability to build coalitions, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• At least 6+ years of experience in the national security, government relations, and/or federal executive or legislative arena.
• Defense/national security experience on Capitol Hill or in government relations roles.
• Experience promoting priorities and influencing policy/budget processes.
• Deep knowledge of US federal appropriations and policy making processes.
• Ability to build coalitions and relationships with Congress and executive agencies.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of government relations strategies to raise Anduril’s profile in DC.
• Develop and implement GR strategy across business lines and fiscal years.
• Plan and execute appropriations/authorization strategies to support revenue targets.
• Coordinate visits by congressional Members and staff to Anduril facilities.
• Draft policy and funding requests, white papers, testimonies, and hearing prep.
• Monitor congressional policy and budget processes and engage with stakeholders.
• Collaborate across teams and external consultants on priorities and messaging.
• Support the company’s Political Action Committee priorities.
