Job summary

Google Sunnyvale seeks a Senior Manager for SoC Design Verification and Methodology to lead verification across TPU designs. You will own functional verification and drive advanced methodologies, coordinating with front-end design, architecture, and performance teams to meet performance goals.

You will guide test plans, coverage, and diagnostics while shaping verification infrastructure and subchip-to-full-chip validation efforts in a fast-paced, innovative AI hardware environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 15 years of experience with SOC design verification, SystemVerilog, and UVM.
• 6 years of experience in people management, developing employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of verification engineers for key TPU components.
• Define and drive advanced verification methodologies for subchips, subsystems, and full chips.
• Develop test plans, verification strategy, environment, components, stimulus, checks and coverage.
• Partner with front-end design, architecture, and performance teams to ensure architectural compliance.
• Provide mentorship, performance feedback, and career development guidance.
