Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a Security Operations Center Monitor to ensure continuous surveillance of CCTV, alarms, and access controls within the Texas Behavioral Health Center. The role supports hospital security operations by documenting incidents and coordinating with police communications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of security or related public safety experience preferred.
• Hospital or behavioral health/ controlled-environment experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV across exterior areas, entrances and hallways.
• Identify security issues and notify University Police Communications Center.
• Monitor alarms and escalate findings per procedures.
• Maintain detailed incident documentation.
• Assist with access management and coordinate with on-site officers.
• Ensure privacy and hospital security practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
