Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking an experienced SoC Power Modelling Engineer in Austin to model and optimize power dissipation across SOCs, including Neural Engines, CPUs, GPUs, and accelerators.

You will work with architecture, SOC design, and system design teams to define power targets and ensure silicon-data correlation. The role requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of industry experience; a MSEE is preferred, with strong scripting and data analysis skills and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 10+ years of industry experience.
• MSEE is preferred; deep knowledge of SOC architecture and power modelling.
• Strong scripting and data analysis capabilities; good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Model power dissipation at the SOC level for IPs and applications (AI/ML, CPUs, GPUs, media IPs).
• Develop power models and correlate to silicon data with lab/validation teams.
• Collaborate with architecture, SOC design, system design, and power delivery teams to define targets.
• Work across teams to optimize power efficiency of edge/ mobile SoCs.
