Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Security Operations Coordinator to monitor alarms, dispatch incidents, and escalate issues for a global organization operating 24/7 across locations and people worldwide.

You will respond to alarm events, handle internal and external emails, answer calls promptly, and uphold standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and our Transformation CoC in a fast-paced SOC environment in Redmond, WA.

• Security, military, law enforcement, or emergency services experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to alarm events and answer incoming calls regarding the customer alarms quickly and efficiently.
• Action / respond to both internal / external customer emails
• Answer all incoming calls promptly and effectively in an efficient and professional manner
• Follow through and take ownership on all inquiries where possible
• Work unsupervised and maintain professionalism
• Contribute to well-staff and a safe and healthy workplace by ensuring awareness of SOPs for emergency and evacuation procedures, security, accident and incident reporting, hazard reporting and self-reporting
• Take all practical steps to ensure your own health and safety at work, and the safety of others (micro pauses, stretching, exercising)
• Role model our Transformation Code of Conduct (CoC)

What you will do

Provide alarm and incident monitoring and dispatching, emergency and non-emergency security messaging, and incident escalation, globally 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for an organization that covers hundreds of locations, and over 100,000 people in more than 100 countries.

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to work 3rdshift
• Must be able and willing to work in person at the SOC – located in Redmond Washington.
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $24 - $29 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
