Job summary

ECS is a leading managed cybersecurity services provider seeking an experienced SOC Manager to lead a 24x7x365 security operations team across multiple client environments. You will drive people leadership, investigations, and incident response execution to deliver high-quality detection and containment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with leadership in SOC, MDR, MSSP or equivalent.
• Proven ability to coach, manage performance, and develop staff in high-pressure environments.
• Strong understanding of modern security operations and investigations across endpoints, identity, network, cloud, and SaaS.
• Experience with enterprise SIEM/EDR/XDR platforms and SOAR or AI-assisted security operations.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and applying it to detection, investigation, and response.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to briefing executives and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of SOC analysts supporting 24x7x365 operations, including staffing, coaching, and performance management.
• Maintain 24x7x365 SOC coverage with proper escalation and workload distribution.
• Ensure high-quality investigations, timely communications, and documentation across multiple customer environments.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex investigations and high-severity incidents.
• Coordinate with Detection Engineering, Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, Red Team, and other teams to improve coverage and response capabilities.
• Drive improvements through process refinement, detection tuning, automation, and technology integration.
• Develop and present operational reports, dashboards, and trends to leadership and customers.
