Job summary

Minerva Cyber Technologies seeks a SOC Operations Lead to helm day-to-day SOC activities, improving investigations, escalations, and service delivery. You will coach analysts, manage readiness, and coordinate with engineering and incident response teams.

You will plan coverage, review metrics, maintain playbooks, and drive improvements from lessons learned across client environments, with emphasis on resilience and security operations leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SOC analysts or a comparable security operations team.
• Strong understanding of alert investigation, incident escalation, detection quality, and evidence handling.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan SOC coverage, work allocation, shift handoffs, and escalation responsibilities.
• Review case quality, response timeliness, backlog, and operational performance metrics.
• Coach analysts and maintain current playbooks, procedures, and training plans.
• Coordinate incident escalation, monitoring outages, security tool changes, and service dependencies.
• Turn operational trends and lessons learned into specific improvement actions.
