Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners is seeking a Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager to lead its cybersecurity operations function in a demanding technology environment. The role focuses on security monitoring, incident response, threat detection, SIEM, SOAR, and endpoint security, guiding a team responsible for enterprise defense.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years of SOC leadership, plus hands-on SIEM/EDR/SOAR experience and a track record building or maturing SOC

Qualifications

• 4+ years of cybersecurity, information security, or security operations experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience managing a SOC or security operations team.
• Strong knowledge of threat detection, incident response, and cyber defense operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Security Operations Center.
• Manage incident detection, triage, investigation, containment, and recovery activities.
• Develop and improve security monitoring capabilities.
• Manage relationships with internal technology teams and external partners.
• Report security risks, trends, and operational metrics to leadership.
• Support audit, compliance, and governance requirements.
• Evaluate and implement improvements across security operations technologies.
