Job summary

HealthPartners, Inc. seeks a Security Operations Center Lead Operator at Methodist Hospital to provide advanced on‑shift leadership for SOC Dispatchers and coordinate incident response.

The role focuses on ensuring policy compliance, high situational awareness, and effective communications between SOC staff and field officers. Key duties include monitoring video management, alarms, access control, and radio systems; guiding incident triage; onboarding and coaching new dispatchers; and

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in security, emergency communications, or public safety telecommunications.
• Equivalent combination of experience and education.

Responsibilities

• SOC Monitoring & Dispatching: Monitor video management, alarms, access control and channels; triage and dispatch calls; maintain situational awareness; support field officers.
• On‑Shift Leadership & Support: Primary resource for SOC Dispatchers; guide incident triage and escalation; manage handoffs and workload distribution; ensure procedure adherence.
• Training & Quality Assurance: Onboard/train new SOC Dispatchers; provide coaching on call taking and documentation; review incident logs for accuracy; support updated procedures.
• Administrative & Support Duties: Documentation, audits and compliance; assist with emergency notifications; perform additional duties as assigned.
