Job summary

ASM Research seeks a Systems Administrator to support production and development environments, performing OS-level work across servers and networks and guiding Level 2 incident handling. Tasks include planning, deploying builds, and maintaining IT infrastructure.

The role covers on-site and remote work, with a focus on Microsoft platforms and continuity planning, backups, and vendor patch management.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolves Level 2 incidents affecting production systems availability through troubleshooting and known fixes.
• Deploys standard repeatable build outs of medium complexity.
• Installs, configures, patches and maintains servers, databases, networks, storage and software solutions.
• Supports intermediate backup strategies and disaster recovery tests; assists Level 1 with routine backups.
