Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen required by law.
• 2–4 years of experience as a Systems Administrator in Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience in multi‑platform environments and following SOPs/technical guidance.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and judgment skills.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and network protocols.
• Experience with patch management, lifecycle management, and routine updates.
• Knowledge of automation or scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell, Ansible).
• Experience with cloud or virtualized environments (VMware, Azure, AWS).
• Ability to work independently and with teams; documentation experience.
• Familiarity with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user and system support for infrastructure during core business hours with rotating on‑call.
• Use monitoring tools to maintain performance and identify issues.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to meet security requirements.
• Follow change management procedures for hardware and software updates.
• Assist with hardware troubleshooting and vendor coordination.
• Evaluate server hardware and software needs and support deployment activities.
• Apply system hardening and manage patch levels; assist in incident response.
• Maintain inventory and documentation for configurations, procedures, and operations.
• Manage tasks and tickets to ensure timely closures.
• Support backup and restore operations and health checks.
