Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the North Valley in California is seeking a Part-time Program Coordinator to lead the SOAR initiative, plan field trips, and deliver high-quality youth development experiences funded by the YCA grant.

You will supervise staff and volunteers, ensure safety, coordinate logistics, and engage families while meeting grant deliverables and maintaining a welcoming, inclusive club environment for youth.

Qualifications

• First Aid & CPR certification required.
• TB test clearance.
• FBI/DOJ background check.
• Driver approval through insurance policies.
• NCLB compliance proof or certification available.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate SOAR outdoor activities, including field trips and outdoor leadership opportunities.
• Supervise and engage youth, maintaining a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
• Mentor and model positive youth development and healthy choices.
• Coordinate field trips, logistics, transportation, and partner relations.
• Maintain program records and report attendance to meet grant requirements.
• Communicate with families and promote SOAR opportunities.
• Support staff training and community engagement.
