Job summary

Boys and Girls Club of Mason Valley seeks a dedicated program leader to integrate youth development principles into engaging activities for ages 6–18. You will guide behavior to maintain a safe environment, plan diverse programs, and coordinate tournaments and on-site activities across Club Areas.

You will work closely with the Unit Director and other leaders, assisting in program delivery while maintaining equipment, fostering positive relationships, and supervising groups of up to 25 youth.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of youth development principles and practices.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems.
• Ability to deal with the general public.
• Ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth.
• Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment.
• Valid State Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Apply youth development principles to all programs and activities.
• Provide guidance and discipline to maintain a safe, positive environment for youth.
• Deliver age-appropriate, gender-inclusive programs for youth 6–18.
• Coordinate tournaments, drop-in games and activities across Club Areas.
• Maintain equipment and supplies daily and ensure clean, safe spaces.
• Assist Unit Director, Director of Program Development and Director of Operations as needed.
• Communicate with staff, volunteers and external groups to promote the Club and resolve issues.
• Manage multiple activities and supervise groups up to 25 participants.
