Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Snowflake CoE Consultant to design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake and related cloud technologies. You will build data pipelines, model data, and work within Agile teams to deliver client data platform solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of data engineering, strong SQL and Python skills, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Certification like SnowPro Core is a plus, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience, including hands-on Snowflake development.
• Strong SQL and data modeling experience.
• Experience developing batch and/or streaming data pipelines.
• Experience with Python or another object-oriented programming language.
• Experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, or Dagster.
• Experience supporting analytics and reporting solutions using Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong communication and client-facing consulting skills.
• SnowPro Core Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake and related cloud technologies.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, transformations, and scalable data models.
• Work within Agile delivery teams to implement client data platform solutions.
• Collaborate with clients and teammates to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop solutions using SQL, Python, and modern data engineering tools.
• Support data quality, performance tuning, and platform optimization initiatives.
• Contribute to the Snowflake CoE through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
