Job DetailsJob Location: Arizona Snowbowl - FLAGSTAFF, AZ 86002Position Type: SeasonalPurpose of the position

(FT or PT, Winter Seasonal Position) The Groomer will operate heavy trail grooming equipment at night, to prepare ski trails and provide an enjoyable and safe mountain environment for Snowbowl guests.

Qualifications
Essential Functions:
  • Operate heavy trail grooming equipment at night, to prepare ski trails for the skiing public.
  • Perform quality grooming without being abusive to Snowbowl property, grooming vehicles, snowmaking infrastructure, chair lift towers and buildings.
  • Perform quality grooming without being destructive to the forest and environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
  • Solid knowledge of equipment operation. Basic knowledge of Snowbowl terrain and mountain geography.
  • Must be at least an intermediate skier/rider.
  • Alertness, precision, memory, concentration, judgment, ingenuity, problem solving, spatial perception, reasoning, initiative, patience, and verbal and written communication skills are necessary abilities.
  • Must be in good physical shape.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work night shift
  • Must be able to work outside in adverse weather conditions on uneven and slick terrain.
  • Ability to see at night
  • Must have a valid US Driver's license.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Works well with others as team
  • Good communication skills
