Job summary

DJ's Landscape Management in Michigan is seeking on-call Snow Shovel Driver team members for part-time, seasonal winter work. You will drive the shovel crew in a box truck between sites, perform shovel duties, and complete safety onboarding.

Flexible scheduling and paid training accompany this role, with on-call shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends. A valid driver’s license (or willingness to obtain one) and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• No experience required.
• Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work.
• Valid chauffeur's license required (or must be willing to obtain one).
• Available for on-call work including nights, days, holiday, and weekend work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive the shovel crew in a box truck to and from job sites.
• Perform shovel crew responsibilities and ensure safety on the job.
• Complete onboarding, snow removal safety training, and route learning.
• Communicate effectively about on-the-job issues.
• Submit hours, activities, and materials in a timely, accurate manner.

Requirements

• Responsible for driving the shovel crew in a box truck to and from job sites in addition to performing shovel crew responsibilities
• Complete training for onboarding, snow removal safety, and learning routes.
• Work safely to complete snow removal to customer specifications and quality standards
• Utilize effective communication for on-the-job issues that may arise
• Submit details of hours, activities, and materials in an accurate and timely manner
• Must be 18 or older
• No experience required
• Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work
