Job summary

Winter Services in Kenosha, WI seeks a General Manager to oversee snow and landscape operations at the branch, lead a team, and drive sales, operations, and financial results.

You will build plans, set KPIs, ensure safety, coordinate marketing, bids, budgeting, and staff development while maintaining excellent customer service.

This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on oversight of daily activities, with a focus on profitability and growth.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of snow and landscape operations.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written skills.
• Must have excellent oral communication, inter-personnel, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Must be computer literate; including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must possess excellent math skills and strong aptitude to understand and analyze financial statements relating to snow & ice division.
• Must possess cost accounting skills including budget preparation and financial projections.
• Must be able to perform take-offs and prepare detailed bid documents based on specifications for snow & ice control services.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all sales and marketing efforts in snow division.
• Assist in strategic planning, marketing and finance planning.
• Supports company quest to become industry leader within company’s markets.
• Set personal performance goals and objectives annually.
• Conduct meetings as required with District Managers, Operations Managers, Office, Fleet and Senior Management staff.
• Attend, contribute and participate actively in all required company meetings.
• Contributes to efforts in reaching company goals and objectives.
• Reinforces through performance the company mission statement.
• To participate in establishing company goals and objectives.
