Job summary

Winter Services Inc. seeks a General Manager in Wisconsin to oversee snow and landscape operations at the Kenosha branch. You will lead a team to achieve sales, operational, and financial goals, while enforcing safety policies and ensuring timely paperwork.

You will build a professional sales organization, develop KPIs, and provide regular updates to senior management with forward-looking projections. Strong leadership and financial acumen are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must possess excellent verbal and written skills.
• Must have excellent oral communication, inter-personnel, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Must be computer literate; including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Must possess excellent math skills and strong aptitude to understand and analyze financial statements relating to snow & ice division.
• Must possess cost accounting skills including budget preparation and financial projections.
• Must be able to perform take-offs and prepare detailed bid documents based on specifications for snow & ice control services.

Responsibilities

• Build branch plan to achieve sales, operational, and financial objectives and execute with team through strong leadership and accountability.
• Lead and grow all team members to create a successful, team minded branch.
• To insure that all safety policies are enforced with regards to all company operations.
• Complete all required paperwork in a timely and efficient manner.
• Develop and continually evolve a fully-integrated, professional sales organization.
• Develop sales goals and KPIs to track renewals, new sales conversion and close rates.
• Provide weekly sales updates to senior management including projections and year-over-year comparisons.
• Prepare presentation materials for bids as needed.
• Develop and implement marketing initiatives to meet annual sales/profitability objectives.
• Identify new tools to streamline lead/sales generation.
• Lead Operations team to build plans to execute safely and profitably.
• Monitor benchmarks and KPIs with team and report activity to management.
• Manage fleet asset utilization and efficiency while coordinating procurement strategies.
• Assist with winter storm planning and manage storms; monitor crew activity and customer service communication.
• Ensure timely completion of administrative, HR, and financial activities daily.
