Job summary

Kinsa Group in Chicago, IL is seeking a Product Development Coordinator to lead new product development and commercialization for a fast-growing snack brand. The role requires hands-on ownership of product formulation, testing, and production trials with QA oversight.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years in food product development, R&D, QA, or product management, with snack food/CPG experience and strong ability to collaborate with co-packers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in food product development, R&D, QA, or product management.
• Snack food or CPG experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel to production facilities as needed.
• Strong QA and manufacturing knowledge.
• Experience working with co-packers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product development and commercialization.
• Partner with co-manufacturers and suppliers.
• Conduct product formulation, testing, and production trials.
• Monitor product quality and investigate issues.
• Manage customer complaints and corrective actions.
• Oversee organic, Non-GMO, and Kosher certifications.
