The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking an Assoc Scientist, R&D – Product Development in Glenview, IL to lead and execute technical projects for core snacking categories. You will develop and commercialize products, renovate existing lines, and drive cost savings across the Snacking Category.

You will collaborate with Packaging R&D, Quality, Operations, Marketing, and Sales to meet business objectives, lead prototype development, cost evaluations, and factory trials, and coordinate tastings and

Qualifications

• BS in Food Science/ Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Solid understanding of food chemistry, analytical testing, formulations and processing used in food manufacturing.
• Understanding of ingredient functionality and interrelation of ingredients, process, and packaging.
• Good communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and commercialize products, renovate existing products, review ingredients for cost savings.
• Collaborate with Packaging R&D, Consumer Experience, Quality, Operations, Manufacturing, Project Management, Marketing, and Sales to drive projects.
• Prototype development, cost evaluations, factory trials, and product specification development.
• Coordinate cross-functional tastings and sensory evaluations; set up systems for new ingredients and finished goods.
