Job summary

The Davis Companies Inc. is seeking a Set Up Feeder for SMT in Westford, MA. This contract-to-hire role offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment that prioritizes quality and innovation.

Shift options include Mon-Thurs 4:30pm-3:00am (four-day work week) and Fri-Sun 6am-6:30pm, with a 36-hour schedule paid as 40. Pay starts at $20/hour with a 10% shift differential for the second shift, and weekend shifts paid at $20/hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Comfortable working on your feet and standing throughout the day.
• Ability to read and interpret product documentation.
• Good organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Scan bar codes for correct reels to be set up in the feeder system.
• Set up solder paste print machine.
• Load feeders onto SMT placement machine and operate the machine.
• Replenish components in SMT feeders as required.
• Review part placement accuracy and alert engineering of issues for resolution.
