Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks a Manufacturing Engineer II to implement, qualify, and optimize a new SMT production line for PCB assembly. You will commission equipment, develop SMT processes, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure efficient, repeatable manufacturing alongside cross-functional teams.

This onsite role in Santa Isabel, PR requires residency in Puerto Rico at start; relocation is not offered. The position supports 2nd shift and focuses on achieving quality, throughput, yield, and OEE

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical engineering field and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Must communicate effectively in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship or eligibility is required to access program information.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, commissioning, qualification, and acceptance of a new SMT line and equipment.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to establish reliable SMT processes.
• Support solder paste printing, SPI/AOI inspection, pick-and-place, and reflow equipment.
