Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Quality Engineer II to support product and process quality engineering and drive improvements across aerospace operations. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and resolve quality issues, contributing to high-quality product delivery.

This onsite position is based at the Santa Isabel, PR location. You must reside in Puerto Rico at start; relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans for product and process quality engineering.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to enhance product quality.
• Facilitate internal and external audits to ensure aerospace standards compliance.
• Investigate deviations and implement preventive solutions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
