Hanwha Semitech Americas seeks an SMT Field Service Engineer to install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot SMT equipment at customer sites across the assigned territory. This role requires strong technical skills, a customer-first attitude, and frequent travel.

The engineer will provide technical support, basic operator training, and assist with Windows-based software and networking tasks. Travel ~70–80% is expected, with documentation and reporting responsibilities throughout the job.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of field service experience in SMT/automation or similar manufacturing equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Experience with Windows-based industrial software, TCP/IP networking, and PC troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and willingness to travel extensively.

Aufgaben

• Install, commission, and service SMT equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Provide technical support and operator training.
• Assist with PC/network/database troubleshooting related to equipment.
• Complete service reports and maintain documentation.
• Travel across territory, approximately 70–80%.
