Lowes Foods is seeking a friendly and energetic Smokehouse/Meat Department team member to provide engaging guest service and perform light meat cutting. You will actively present Smokehouse samples, tell stories to guests, and maintain department standards in merchandising and safety.

Responsibilities include stocking, receiving, and ensuring product quality while maintaining sanitation and safety per company policies.

Qualifications

• Friendly, energetic and outgoing personality.
• Ability to engage guests and have fun with customers.
• Willingness to perform in front of large crowds in the Smokehouse area.
• Ability to multitask and work with others.
• Able to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Meat cutting/trimming experience preferred.
• Culinary knowledge/background preferred.
• Able to read and follow directions and learn multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of deli and meat department operations.
• Good communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand/kneel/bend for extended periods.
• Able to work with supervision and computers.

Responsabilités

• Provide fun, friendly, engaging service to guests.
• Engage guests with Smokehouse samples and story-selling.
• Operate the department following merchandising and safety standards.
• Maintain product quality and Lowes Foods standards.
• Ensure sanitation and HACCP-related logs are kept up to date.
• Perform light meat cutting and preparation duties as needed.
• Handle receiving, stocking, and guest service tasks.
• Perform PA announcements as required.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by management.
