Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Smartsheet SME to drive IT projects for our Utilities Technologies Solutions team. You will design, build, test, and deploy practical Smartsheet solutions, dashboards, and automations, working closely with business and technical teams.

This role is onsite in Newark, NJ three days a week, with potential travel along the East Coast. The ideal candidate has 4+ years as an architect, hands-on Smartsheet experience, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of architect experience or equivalent in Smartsheet design, enhancement and support.
• Hands‑on experience building and enhancing Smartsheet solutions.
• Experience with Smartsheet dashboards, reports, workflows, formulas, and automation.
• Experience integrating SaaS platforms using APIs, connectors, middleware, or similar tools.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Experience with SAP integrations is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing Smartsheet solutions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Enhance sheets, dashboards, reports, forms, formulas, and automated workflows.
• Design and support integrations between Smartsheet, SAP, and other SaaS applications.
• Use APIs, connectors, middleware, or file‑based data exchanges to support system integration.
• Troubleshoot data, workflow, reporting, and integration issues.
• Partner with business users and technical teams to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Document enhancements and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.
