Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Smartsheet SME to drive delivery of IT projects for a major electric utility client. You will design, build, test, and implement practical Smartsheet solutions in collaboration with business and technical teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on work in Smartsheet beyond administration, including dashboards, automation, reporting, and integrations with SAP and other SaaS platforms. Location is Newark, NJ with onsite work three days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years as an architect or similar role.
• Hands-on experience building and enhancing Smartsheet solutions.
• Experience with Smartsheet dashboards, reports, workflows, formulas, and automation.
• Experience integrating SaaS platforms using APIs, connectors, middleware or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing Smartsheet solutions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Enhance sheets, dashboards, reports, forms, formulas, and automated workflows.
• Design and support integrations between Smartsheet, SAP, and other SaaS applications.
• Use APIs, connectors, middleware, or file-based data exchanges to support system integration.
• Troubleshoot data, workflow, reporting, and integration issues.
• Partner with business users and technical teams to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Document enhancements and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.
