Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Smartsheet SME and Solutions Architect to drive IT project delivery for an electric utility client. You will design, build, test, and implement practical Smartsheet solutions, dashboards, and automation while integrating SAP and other SaaS platforms.

This hands-on role collaborates with business and technical teams; on-site at the client’s Newark, NJ office three days per week, with travel along the East Coast as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of architect-level Smartsheet experience.
• Hands-on experience building and enhancing Smartsheet solutions.
• Experience with Smartsheet dashboards, reports, workflows, formulas, and automation.
• Experience integrating SaaS platforms using APIs, connectors, middleware, or similar tools.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with SAP integrations is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing Smartsheet solutions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Enhance sheets, dashboards, reports, forms, formulas, and automated workflows.
• Design and support integrations between Smartsheet, SAP, and other SaaS applications.
• Use APIs, connectors, middleware, or file-based data exchanges to support system integration.
• Troubleshoot data, workflow, reporting, and integration issues.
• Partner with business users and technical teams to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Document enhancements and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.
