Job summary

Gravity IT Resources seeks a junior-to-mid level SmartCOMM Template Developer to join an on-site team in Tampa, FL. You will build internal capability around template creation, revisions, and data mapping, handling high-volume state updates tied to insurance product changes.

You will ramp quickly to produce accurate templates, address frequent form changes, and communicate proactively to keep work moving. The role focuses on configuration, editing templates, and managing revisions as forms

Qualifications

• 3+ years of SmartCOMM template build experience.
• 3-6 years of overall relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Exposure to: XML, JSON.
• Exposure to REST APIs / Web Services.
• SQL (basic/working exposure).
• Data transformation and mapping.
• Understanding how data flows from source systems into SmartCOMM.
• Guidewire exposure (strong plus).
• P&C insurance experience (strong plus).

Responsibilities

• Create new SmartCOMM templates (configuration-focused; no heavy coding required).
• Edit and enhance existing templates.
• Manage template revisions/version updates as forms change.
• Perform template field setup and data mapping (define fields and what data needs to be passed in).
• Support troubleshooting related to template/data mapping and document output.

Summary

We're seeking a junior-to-mid level SmartCOMM Template Developer to join an on-site team and help build internal capability around document template creation, ongoing revisions, and template data mapping. This person will provide added bandwidth in a high-volume environment with frequent state-by-state form updates tied to insurance product/coverage changes.

What You'll Do

• You quickly ramp up and begin producing accurate, consistent templates and revisions
• You help the team keep pace with frequent forms changes and state-specific updates
• You communicate clearly and proactively to keep work moving and avoid rework
• Create new SmartCOMM templates (configuration-focused; no heavy coding required)
• Edit and enhance existing templates
• Manage template revisions/version updates as forms change
• Perform template field setup and data mapping (define fields and what data needs to be passed in)
• Support troubleshooting related to template/data mapping and document output (you won't be building integrations, but you'll help identify where issues occur)
• Stay organized in a fast-moving environment with frequent updates and high throughput
