Job summary

ADT is hiring for a Field Operations Installer to deploy and support advanced low-voltage security systems in customer homes and businesses. You will install wiring, test systems, and ensure reliable operation while educating customers on features and basic troubleshooting.

The role requires hands-on work, strong problem-solving abilities, and a focus on safety and quality workmanship. A valid driver’s license and flexible scheduling are needed for on-site deployments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and network diagnostics.
• Ability to safely operate a company fleet vehicle.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-focused communication.
• Self-directed with solid time management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install low-voltage wiring and mount devices according to site layouts and routing plans.
• Perform site assessments, system testing, and verify connections including monitoring centre communication.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and flag defective materials or job inaccuracies that affect service quality.
• Educate customers on system features, usage, and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow all safety protocols.
