Job summary

ADT Security Services is seeking a field technician to install and support low-voltage systems in customer homes and businesses across the country. You will ensure systems are installed, tested, and configured for optimal performance, and you will communicate clearly to customers to build trust.

You will troubleshoot issues, educate customers on features, and maintain safety while working hands-on in various environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and network diagnostics.
• Ability to safely operate a company fleet vehicle.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and customer-first communication.

Responsibilities

• Install low-voltage wiring and mount devices according to site layouts and routing plans.
• Perform site assessments, system testing, and verify connections including monitoring center communication.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and flag defective materials or job inaccuracies that affect service quality.
• Educate customers on system features, usage, and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow all safety protocols.
