Job summary

Vivint Field Service Technician position seeks a customer-focused, technically skilled professional to install and support smart home systems in customers’ homes. You’ll assess needs, upsell upgrades, and train customers on use of their new tech.

The role emphasizes a sales mindset, strong communication, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions, with a company vehicle and ongoing coaching.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to successfully pass post-offer background screening and licensing requirements.
• Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluate customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Train homeowners on how to use their new system to help protect their families.
• Grow through coaching and leadership opportunities within the national organization.
