Job summary

Vivint Smart Home is seeking a Field Service Technician/Professional to install and service smart home technology at customer homes across the national network. You’ll combine technical expertise with on-site consultative sales to identify upgrades and enhancements, while delivering exceptional customer education and peace of mind.

In this role you’ll enjoy a competitive compensation package with base pay plus uncapped commissions, paid training, a company vehicle, and a 4/10 schedule.

Qualifications

• A Sales Mindset:Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Customer First Attitude:Ability to build rapport with diverse customers with integrity.
• Technical Aptitude:Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Consultative Sales: Evaluating customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Customer Education: Training homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
• Growth: Coaching and leadership training to advance within the national organization.
