Job summary

NRG Energy, through Vivint Smart Home, is hiring Field Service Technicians to install and service smart home technology, while proactively identifying and selling upgraded solutions to provide customers with total peace of mind. You will be the face of Vivint in customers’ homes, delivering cutting-edge technology and superior service.

Qualifications

Sales experience in retail, B2C or service-based sales preferred.
Customer-first attitude with strong rapport building.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; pass background/licensing per applicable law.

Responsibilities

Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
Consultative sales: evaluating customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
Customer education: training homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
Growth: continuous coaching and leadership training to move up within our national organization.
