Job summary

NRG Energy, through Vivint Smart Home, is seeking Field Service Technicians to install cutting-edge smart home technology and proactively identify upgrades to provide customers with peace of mind. You will be the face of Vivint, delivering security cameras, smart locks, and home automation on site.

We offer a competitive hourly base pay with uncapped commissions, comprehensive training, a take-home company vehicle, and a 4/10 workweek.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a plus.
• Ability to connect with customers and build rapport.
• Technical installation/troubleshooting of smart home devices is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluate customers' homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or services on-site.
• Train homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
• Grow through coaching and leadership development within the national organization.
