Job summary

NRG Energy, through its Vivint Smart Home division, seeks a Field Service Technician/Professional to install and service smart home technology while proactively identifying upsell opportunities. You will drive a take-home company vehicle and work with customers in their homes.

Expect comprehensive paid training, a 4/10 work schedule (including Saturdays), and ongoing coaching within our national team. A valid driver's license and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, B2C sales or service-based sales is a plus.
• Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
• Experience in cable/satellite install or related field is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting smart home devices.
• Evaluating homes to recommend equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Educating customers on how to use their system for protection and peace of mind.
• Growth through coaching and leadership training within the national organization.
